In my opinion, flight attendants do not need to be very young and beautiful. Beauty is only a person's appearance; it does not represent the inner beauty. Hence, content, quality and ability is the most important requirement as a flight attendant. We must serve the passengers with sincerity and friendliness, we should let them feel that they are at home; even they are on a short trip.

Appearance is only the first impression to the passengers, when we need to fulfill passengers’ needs and questions, we should have enough patience and knowledge to assist them. So, if the flight attendants only have good appearance but do not understand anything, I would think this is very terrible.

Flying with the airplane can be quite dangerous. Therefore flight attendants must be mature enough to handle some unforeseen situation. Their experiences in handling passengers during those situations are much better and able to calm down the passengers. This is what younger flight attendants do not equip with. Finally, I personally think that the flight attendants should not only be young and pretty.
