Nanfang College is located in Conghua city of Greater Guangzhou, which is known as “Pearl along the Tropic of Cancer” and “Garden City of Peach” and is famous worldwide for its hot spring. The campus lies near Shimen National Forest Park in the south and links closely to the Mother River of Guangzhou—Liuxi River. The college cover an area of 1000mu,the total planning area is 460 thousand square meters,it can house 12000 students.At present,about 204000 square meters was built and used in college,including office buiding,Classroom building,laboratory building，libary，gym(with swiming pool),the student center,dormitory(quad with net and telephone piont),canteen,commercial areas and a set of living equipments.And there are three laboratory buildings and a voice cnter about 16000square meters among them.Instrument and equipment of laboratory building cost 45.39 million include 1071 computers and 324 voice learning machines.Numerical Experiment Content contain computer,eletronic,news editor,artistic designing,economy and managment.31 rooms for computer,network,Electrical engineering circuit, photograph, NT Non-Linear Editing, and Digital Media Art
designing.These equipments lay the foundations of promote the level of education,scientific research,managment and train applied and compound talents.
College cover the net all the buildings,the library and laboratory cover the wifi.The total areas of library is 25000 square meters.Students can share inquire, electronic resource inquire,reader'education and train besides borrow.Meanwhile,students still can share the resources with electronic information service platform in SUN YAT-SEN UNIVERSITY.Students can browse 1320thousand ebooks,460 hundred foriegn reading and 300 N-ISDN Network DataBase online.

At present, the College has 7 departments, namely: economics, Chinese Literature, Foreign Languages and Literature, Electrical and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Management, Accounting， Public Management, which consists of 14 majors and the number of students is 9724.
